The TV anime Magical Sisters LuluttoLily (Japanese: Mahō no Shimai Rurutto Riryi) will continue with its second cour in October 2026. The production team, including Bandai Namco Filmworks and Studio Pierrot, announced this on June 21, coinciding with the end of the first season. To celebrate the announcement, a new teaser visual was released, featuring the sisters Fuu and Rui Nonoyama along with a giant hourglass—a hint that the magical world will play a larger role in the second part.

Also officially introduced for the first time is the new character Asahi Araki, a passionate idol fan who had already appeared in several earlier episodes. Asahi's voice will be provided by Miyari Nemoto, a Japanese voice actress from Ibaraki Prefecture who is affiliated with the agency Aoni Production. Nemoto is known for her leading roles in In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki, Alice Gear Aegis Expansion, and Ruri Rocks. In her comment on the casting, she expressed delight at being able to officially announce the role and promised to convey the character's enthusiasm alongside her.

The plot of the second cour will show Asahi as a new member of the agency Production Once More, after she was motivated to audition by a live concert of LuluttoLily. While the first season focused on the sisters' daily lives and their growth as idols, the new key visual suggests that the magical dimension of the story will come more into focus in October.

Alongside the announcement, the insert song "Magical Rendezvous" from the twelfth and final episode of the first season was released on all music streaming services. Additionally, on June 24, 2026, the album "TV Anime Magical Sisters LuluttoLily Song Collection & Soundtrack" will be released, combining the series' songs and background music.

Magical Sisters LuluttoLily is the sixth production in the long-standing Pierrot Magical Girl Series and the studio's first new TV series in this genre since Fancy Lala in 1998. The first season aired from April 5 to June 21, 2026, on Tokyo MX, ABC TV, TV Aichi, and other channels. The series is directed by Shintarō Dōge, who is also responsible for the original character design; the series composition is by Yūko Kakihara.
