Main trailer and new line-up for anime series "The Saintess, Who was abandoned for beg Too Perfect and Unlovable, is sold to a Neighboring Kingdom"

A new trailer for the anime adaptation of the fantasy work "The Saintess, Who Was Abandoned for Being Too Perfect and Unlovable, Is Sold to a Neighboring Kingdom" has been revealed. It was presented during the "AnimeJapan 2025" event on March 23. The trailer unveils key plot twists: A looming threat from the underworld leads to the appearance of the powerful demon Asmodeus. At the same time, the struggles faced by the protagonist Filia, who was sold to a neighboring country, as well as Mia in her homeland, are depicted.

During this presentation, additional characters and their Japanese voice actors were announced: Ikue Otani voices Elsa Notice, an exorcist. Her animal companion and confidant Mammon is voiced by KENN, while the powerful demon Asmodeus is played by Hiroki Touchi. The role of the saint Emily, the eldest daughter of the House of Martyras from the Kingdom of Volmern, is taken on by Natsumi Murakami; her younger sister Amanda is voiced by Aina Suzuki, and the youngest sister Jane by Nanaka Suwa. Maaya Sakamoto portrays Fiona, the legendary first saint who saved the world 400 years ago.

The anime tells the story of Filia, a flawless saint who is rejected by her fiancé due to her supposedly too perfect and distant demeanor and is eventually sold to a neighboring kingdom.
