The officials have released the main visual for the second season of the TV anime »Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! 2«. The spin-off series, which depicts the characters of the main franchise in cute, minimalist miniature form, starts in July 2026. The first season aired in 2021.
In addition to the established rivalry between the Armed Detective Agency around Nakajima Atsushi and Dazai Osamu, as well as the Port Mafia under Ryunosuke Akutagawa, the new season will also feature the factions of the Guild, the Hunting Dogs, and the Five Signs of Decay for the first time in the spin-off series.
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the main anime, a special illustration by artist Harukawa 35 was also unveiled. The image titled »Yokohama Chapter« was created specifically for the anniversary exhibition taking place at the Kanagawa Museum of Modern Literature from June 6 and will be presented there.
Furthermore, the animation studio Bones is exclusively producing 20 new illustrations for the anniversary. The first illustration shows Nakajima Atsushi, while the remaining motifs were initially only hinted at as silhouettes.
