Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines - Episode 2

The episode begins with Lemon jogging and admiring Mitsuki from afar. Later, she meets Kazuhiko in a storage room and asks him about Mitsuki's book-borrowing habits. Kazuhiko suggests a strategy for Lemon to interact with Mitsuki, which Mitsuki appreciates.

The two get locked in the hot storage room, and Kazuhiko uses a cooling spray on Lemon, leading to an awkward, intimate moment interrupted by Amanatsu. They go to the infirmary, where Konuki takes care of them.

Anna visits Kazuhiko, bringing him food and a special white sauce to repay her debt. Lemon wakes up, and Mitsuki arrives with a get-well gift that makes Lemon blush. Chihaya appears and schemes with Mitsuki about the tutoring school.

The plot shifts to the literature club, where Koto, Komari, and Shintaro are introduced. Kazuhiko learns that Shintaro is Koto's childhood friend. Later, Kazuhiko and Kaju chat at the train station about friendship.

In the literature club, Anna and Kazuhiko observe the interactions between Shintaro, Komari, and Koto, revealing tensions. Mitsuki and Lemon arrive, and Koto tries to recruit them for the club. This leads to Mitsuki's surprising revelation that he and Chihaya are a couple.

Shocked, Lemon decides to join the literature club instead of going with Mitsuki. Anna invites Lemon to eat but can't pay, increasing her debt to Kazuhiko.

The episode ends with Konuki watching Lemon during late-night running practice, speculating about Lemon's feelings for Kazuhiko.
