Manga creator Itaru Bonnoki recently announced via Twitter that he will be taking a break to focus on his health. He expressed his intention to return once his stomach issues improve and he can enjoy a Burger King Whopper again.

Bonnoki’s manga The Vampire Dies in No Time (Kyūketsuki Sugu Shinu) is currently on a one-month hiatus, from March 30 to April 27, with plans to resume on May 11. The manga was interrupted three times last year, with several breaks attributed to the creator’s health issues.

In addition to The Vampire Dies in No Time, Bonnoki and Nata Ōkura recently launched the manga adaptation of Xemono’s Needy Streamer Overload game, titled Needy Girl Overdose: Run with My Sick, which was released on March 21 on Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross website.

At the time of writing, there has been no official announcement regarding the potential impact of Bonnoki’s break on the resumption of The Vampire Dies in No Time or the serialization of Needy Girl Overdose: Run with My Sick.

The Vampire Dies in No Time manga began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Champion in June 2015, with its 25th compiled volume scheduled for release on May 8. The anime adaptation of the manga premiered in Japan in October 2021.
