Viz Media has announced that the manga series "Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead" will be adapted into an anime. The company released a trailer on its official YouTube channel, which also introduces the production team behind the project. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July. Kazuki Kawagoe and Hanako Ueda will direct for Studio Bug Films. Hiroshi Seko is writing the script, Kii Tanaka is in charge of character design, and Junpei Fukuchi is handling zombie design. Makoto Miyazaki will compose the soundtrack, with Maiko Gōda overseeing music selection under the supervision of Dugout. The only confirmed voice actor so far is Shūichirō Umeda, who will play the protagonist Akira Tendo.

"Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead" is a horror manga series written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's "Monthly Sunday Gene-X" since October 2018 and currently spans 11 volumes. The series is also getting a live-action adaptation, which is set to release on Netflix later this year.
