MAPPA announces the new original TV anime "Zenshu".

The animation studio MAPPA recently announced its latest project, an original TV anime titled "Zenshu." The series promises to captivate audiences with the story of Hirose Natsuko, a high school graduate who evolves from an aspiring animator into an outstanding director. With her directorial debut, Natsuko quickly gains fame, and her first work becomes a sensation, earning her a reputation as an innovative director. The anime explores the challenges she faces in her next project, a romantic comedy centered around first love—a concept foreign to Natsuko, as she has never experienced love herself, leading her into a creative dead end.

"Zenshu" stands out with its unique title, which translates to "complete change" or "complete retake," a term used in the anime industry for extensive revisions. This expression not only reflects the meticulous process of animation production but also serves as a memorable quote from the protagonist Natsuko.

The creative team behind this anime includes Mitsue Yamazaki as director, Kimiko Ueno as screenwriter, Yoshiteru Tsujino, who provided the original character concepts, and Kayoko Ishikawa, responsible for character design. The series features a talented cast, with Anna Nagase voicing Natsuko. Other notable characters in "A Tale of Ruin" are voiced by Nozomi Urawa, Rie Kugimiya, Minori Suzuki, and Sho Yamato.
