The official Twitter account for Marcey Naito's manga "Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister" has announced that the series will be adapted into a TV anime. This news comes as a surprise, as it coincides with both the manga's second anniversary and Naito's birthday.
"Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister" tells the story of Uryu Kamihate, a young man who has experienced much hardship in his life but is determined to forget it by pursuing his dream of studying medicine. However, his plan to find a quiet place to study is disrupted when he arrives at his new foster home, a functioning shrine. There, he learns that he will be living with three beautiful and lively Amagami sisters and that he must marry one of them to inherit the shrine.
The manga first appeared in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in April 2021, and its ninth compiled volume was released by Kodansha on March 16.
