Masamune-kun no Revenge S2 - Episode 4

We begin the episode in the silence of Masamune's room, where the protagonist is grappling with a startling discovery: Yoshino, not Aki, might have been the one who gave him the derogatory nickname "Pig's Foot." The nickname is the reason for Masamune's long-standing revenge plan against Aki. Convinced of his discovery, Masamune decides to confront Yoshino about her possible deception.

We find ourselves in a crowded school hallway as Masamune approaches Yoshino, accusing her of being the true culprit behind his humiliation. At first, Yoshino seems surprised by Masamune's claim. However, under the pressure of his conviction, she finally admits that she was indeed the one who came up with the insulting nickname. She reveals that her contempt for Masamune, born from jealousy over his budding friendship with Aki, drove her to hurt him. This revelation strikes Masamune like a bolt of lightning, altering his emotions and perspective.

Despite her past actions, Yoshino discloses that she had agreed to support Masamune in his revenge plan. She believed he wouldn’t be able to carry it out, especially after getting to know the real Aki.

Then, the scene shifts to Aki, who unknowingly falls for Kanetsugu's deceptions. Masamune, still reeling from his conversation with Yoshino, races against time to save Aki. In a tense encounter, he arrives just in time to expose Kanetsugu's lies. However, the confrontation quickly escalates as Masamune attacks Kanetsugu and insults Aki, further complicating matters.

The episode culminates with Masamune, caught in a whirlwind of emotions, nearly confessing to Aki that he is the real Masamune and not the façade he’s been pretending to be. He even goes so far as to encourage her to go on a date with him.
