Mashle: Magic and Muscles in April

Crunchyroll has announced that the anime adaptation of Hajime Kōmoto's manga Mashle: Magic and Muscles will be available for streaming starting in April for the upcoming Spring 2023 season. The company has released a trailer with English subtitles, giving fans a taste of what to expect. The cast has already been revealed and includes voice actors such as Chiaki Kobayashi as Mash Burnedead, Hiroaki Hirata as the narrator, and Reina Ueda as Lemon Irvine. Tomonari Tanaka will direct at A-1 Pictures, while Yousuke Kuroda is in charge of the series' scripts and Hisashi Higashijima designs the characters. Masaru Yokoyama composes the music.



Mashle: Magic and Muscles first appeared in Japan in January 2020 in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and has already gained a large fanbase. The story revolves around a muscle-bound young man who trains in a magical world where magic is everything—except he can't use it. When his peaceful life is threatened, he must rely on his physical strength to protect himself from those who wish him harm.
