“Mato Seihei no Slave” announces season 2 with a new teaser featuring Koi Yamashiro

The TV anime "Mato Seihei no Slave," based on the work by Takahiro and Youhei Takemura, will continue with a second season. This announcement comes alongside the release of a teaser video and special visuals for the occasion. The anime, which has been airing since January, concluded its first season in March with the twelfth episode. The new teaser features the appearance of a new character, Koi Yamashiro, the commanding leader of the Magical Defense Corps, who reviews the data of the protagonist Yuuki Wakura. This visual gives fans a first impression of Koi's voice.

A commemorative visual was also released to announce the second season. The black-and-white illustration depicts Koi Yamashiro with a touch of nobility and mystery. "Mato Seihei no Slave" follows the battle fantasies of a group of female soldiers known as the Magical Defense Corps, tasked with defeating monstrous creatures referred to as "ugly demons," alongside a male student, Yuuki, who fights by their side. The role of Yuuki is played by Hirose Yuuya, who contributes to the rich array of characters and adventures that define this series.
