- Import: Gipi, Die Unschuldigen, avant-verlag

- Japan: Keiji Nakazawa, Barefoot Gen, Carlsen Comics

4.) Best German-language comic publication for children: Jens F. Ehrenreich, Jónas Blondal, Epsilon Verlag

5.) Best international screenwriter: Max Goldt

6.) Special prize for an outstanding lifetime achievement: Jacques Tardi

7.) Jury's special award for his artistic stance in the dispute over the so-called Mohammed cartoons: Ralf König
