A film adaptation of the anime series Medalist has officially been greenlit. A theatrical release is scheduled for the year 2027. This announcement was made during a special advance screening for the second season of the anime television series.

The film will directly continue the story from the end of the second anime season. For this second season, a new key visual was presented, featuring the characters Inori Yuitsuka and Tsukasa Akeuraji alongside their rivals Hikari Kugahara and Yotaka Tsuchimikado against the backdrop of a frozen lake.

Further details concerned the second season of the series. The plot of the first episode titled "Medarist: Shutsujin no Chikai" (Medalist: The Athlete's Oath) will center on the competition in the Chubu block.

In addition to these announcements, accompanying activities were revealed. Hand warmers featuring the new series visual will be available at a store in Tokyo. Furthermore, a Medalist exhibition is planned for Nagoya.
