Medical crime thriller "Ameku Takao's Detective Card" is to be adapted as an anime

The novel "Ameku Takao no Suiri Karute" by practicing physician Michihito Chinan is set to be adapted into a TV anime. Both a teaser image and a special promotional video have been released to the public. Illustrated by Noizi Ito, known for her work on "Shakugan no Shana" and "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya," the novel is a medical mystery that captivated readers and sold over three million copies.

The story takes place in the Comprehensive Diagnostic Department of Ten'i-kai General Hospital, where patients deemed difficult to treat by other doctors are referred. In addition to medical challenges, the department also faces mysterious "murder cases" and "enigmas" that even the police cannot solve. The protagonist, a brilliant doctor named Takao Ameku, tackles these puzzling illnesses.
