In the September issue of Shueisha magazine V Jump it was revealed on Wednesday that the TV anime of Level 5's Megaton-kyū Musashi will be released on October 1st. An image for the anime was also posted on the official website of the franchise.

Shigeharu Takahashi, who worked on the four Yo-kai Watch films from 2014 to 2019, is set to direct the TV anime. Akihiro Hino, President and Representative Director of Level-5, will serve as the series' composer.

The action takes place in a world where 90 percent of humanity has been wiped out by an invasion. The survivors live in a bunker where their lives are monitored and memories of the invasion are erased. Three teenagers from the bunker are chosen to control three machines that combine to form the Musashi robot, made from a material called megatronium alloy.
