MF Ghost Anime is gearing up for its October premiere with new theme tracks and key details

The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Shuuichi Shigeno's MF Ghost manga recently provided fans with new details. The update includes the release of a fourth promotional video and the reveal of the anime's opening and ending themes.



MF Ghost is set in the 2020s, a time when self-driving cars have become commonplace on Japan's roads. The manga and upcoming anime focus on Kanata Livington, a talented Japanese driver who returns to Japan after an impressive stint at a racing school in England. The series will also highlight the MFG, a public road racing circuit that has garnered worldwide attention.

The anime's opening theme, titled "JUNGLE FIRE feat. MOTSU," is performed by Yū Serizawa, while the ending theme, "Stereo Sunset (Prod. AmPm)," is sung by Himika Akaneya, marking her solo debut. Notable cast members include Yūma Uchida, Ayane Sakura, and Hiroshi Kamiya.

Behind the scenes, Tomohito Naka serves as the anime's director, overseeing production at Felix Film Studio. Kenichi Yamashita, in collaboration with Akihiko Inari, is responsible for the series' scripts. The character designs are handled by Naoyuki Onda, who also serves as one of the chief animators alongside Chiyoko Sakamoto. Hiroki Uchida is in charge of 3D direction, while Masafumi Mima handles sound direction. Akio Dobashi is responsible for composing the music.

As for the original manga, Shuuichi Shigeno began serializing MF Ghost in Kodansha's Young Magazine in September 2017. To date, 17 volumes have been released in Japan.
