Mission - Yozakura Family - Episode 2

In Episode 2, Taiyo is officially welcomed into the Yozakura family, although Mutsumi's older brother Kyoichiro disagrees with this decision. The episode begins with Taiyo waking up to find Kyoichiro holding a dagger to his throat—an aggressive greeting that highlights Kyoichiro's feelings about Taiyo's marriage to Mutsumi.

Shortly after this tense morning encounter, Taiyo and Mutsumi become victims of a bombing orchestrated by Kyoichiro as part of their ongoing training, meant to test Taiyo's resolve and ability to protect Mutsumi. Kyoichiro then reveals crucial details about the history and purpose of the Yozakura family. The family, known as spies since the Edo period, consists of members born with unique talents and abilities. However, one member per generation is born without any powers and is appointed as the family's leader. The head of this generation is Mutsumi.

The narrative emphasizes Mutsumi's pivotal role as the family head and the importance of her safety, which Kyoichiro and the other siblings zealously ensure. Now that Taiyo is Mutsumi's husband, this duty of protection extends to him as well, and he must learn from his in-laws how to properly defend his wife.
