Hitsuji Gondaira's popular manga series "Mission: Yozakura Family" is gaining momentum with new developments, as it is not only inspiring a novel but also set to transition into the realm of animation.

The publishing house Shueisha has announced a novel adaptation of "Mission: Yozakura Family" titled "Yozakura-ke Kansatsu Nikki" or "Yozakura Family Observation Diary." Denkieidō, a well-known author, has been entrusted with the task of writing the novel, which is scheduled to hit shelves on July 4. The novel's title suggests a glimpse into the everyday adventures and challenges of the Yozakura family, potentially offering loyal manga fans new perspectives and insights.

The manga "Mission: Yozakura Family" has been a key part of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since August 2019. The 18th volume is set to release on the same day as the novel.

The story revolves around the incredibly shy high school student Taiyo Asano, whose only close confidant is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura.
