The second season of the anime adaptation of the popular light novel series "Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu" (abbreviated as "Mobseka") will start on July 8, 2026. As announced by the series' official X account, the second key visual has been released just in time for the upcoming broadcast.

Specially created by character designer Suzuki Masahiko, the visual shows not only the already known main characters Leon, Olivia, Angelica, and Marie, but also Princess Hertrude of Fanoss and the Black Knight Vandell from the first season. Newly added is Hertrude's younger sister Hertrauda, who will play an important role in the second season. The voice actress for Hertrauda is Ogura Yui.

To mark the release of the key visual, a giveaway is starting on the official X channel. Those who follow the account and retweet the corresponding post can win one of five B2 posters featuring the motif. The deadline for participation is June 17, 2026, at 11:59 PM (JST).

Already on July 2, 2026, at 10:00 PM (JST), AT-X will broadcast a special program for the season premiere. Under the title "Mobseka 2nd Season Start Commemorative Special – Packed Full of Variety," voice actors Otsuka Takeo (Leon), Ichinose Kana (Olivia), and Fairouz Ai (Angelica), along with MC Tenshin Dairou, will discuss the highlights of the new season and compete against each other in a "ranking game." Repeats are scheduled for July 6 and July 8.

The second season will air from July 8, 2026, on AT-X (11:30 PM), TOKYO MX (1:00 AM), and BS Nihon (from July 9, 1:00 AM). Also starting on July 8 at 12:30 AM, streaming services ABEMA and d Anime Store will begin with terrestrial advance and quick broadcasts. Additional platforms will follow from July 13.

The first season of the series aired in 2022 and quickly gained a large fan base. The story revolves around the young Leon, who is reborn into a world full of otome game clichés and must deal with overpowering enemies and political intrigues. The second season continues the story immediately after the events of the first part.

The series is once again produced by Studio ENGI under the direction of Miura Kazuya. The script is written by Inohara Kenta, and the music is composed by Hashiguchi Kana and Nittame Sora. The extensive voice cast includes Ishida Akira (Luxion), Sakura Ayane (Marie), Suzumura Kenichi (Julius), Toriumi Kosuke (Jilk), Tachibana Shinnosuke (Brad), Yusa Koji (Chris), and Hiyama Nobuyuki (Greg).
