Movie release with exclusive insights: Uta no Prince-sama♪ Taboo Night XXXX releases opening sequence

The opening film for the movie Uta no Prince-sama♪ Taboo Night XXXX (engl. Uta no Prince-sama♪: Taboo Night XXXX) is now officially available on YouTube. The roughly two-and-a-half-minute sequence, first presented at AnimeJapan 2025, also includes the opening credits and offers a moody preview of the plot. The film will be released in Japanese theaters starting May 9.

Additional details about accompanying events were announced: During the third and fourth weeks of screenings, stage performances with members of the voice cast will be held at the Shinjuku Piccadilly Cinema in Tokyo. On May 25, Sōta Aoi (voice of Aoi Mikaze) and Tomoaki Maeno (voice of Camus) will appear, followed by Shōtarō Morikubo (voice of Reiji Jin) and Tatsuhisa Suzuki (voice of Ranmaru Kurosaki) on May 31.

Starting April 23 at 12:00 PM, tickets for these events can be reserved in advance via Lawson Tickets. Concurrently, a live broadcast of the stage performances will be shown in 134 cinemas nationwide. As a special offer, attendees in the first week will receive an exclusive gift—a special postcard with personal messages from the characters.
