Mr. Villain's Day Off Anime Announces Additional Cast, Staff, and Premiere Date

Additional important information has been revealed for the anime adaptation of Yuu Morikawa's manga "Mr. Villain's Day Off." New images and a promotional video have been released, providing insight into the characters and the direction of the story. The comedy anime revolves around "Mr. Warumono," who is known as the general of an evil organization, and focuses on his days off and extracurricular activities.

The voice actors for the characters belonging to the same evil organization as Mr. Warumono, played by Shintarō Asanuma, have already been confirmed. Sōma Saitō will voice Rooney, and Yūichi Nakamura will voice Trigger. Other characters include the rangers of the Earth Defense Organization: Hiiro Ishibashi as Akatsuki Red, Takuya Eguchi as Sōten Blue, Ai Kakuma as Shinonome Pink. Hibiku Yamamura plays a dual role as the twins Reimei Green Sora and Mugi, and Yuichiro Umehara appears as Yoiyami Black. Additionally, comments from the actors have been released, in which they share their excitement and impressions about their respective characters.

The newly released image shows Mr. Warumono spending his day off at a zoo, with a panda in the background. Also featured are the six members of the Rangers, the Earth Defense Organization, and colleagues from Mr. Warumono's evil organization. The promotional video showcases the various sides of the characters, including Warumono-san politely instructing Red, Blue struggling with a stomachache, Pink admiring magical girls, and the Green twins calmly analyzing their enemies despite their youthful innocence.

Finally, it has been confirmed that the anime will air on TV in January 2024.
