Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation II launches in July 2023

AnimeJapan 2023 has released a new promotional video and visuals for the upcoming second season of the series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. The series is set to premiere in July 2023, featuring a returning main cast and an updated production team.





Hiroki Hirano, who served as assistant director in the first season, will replace Manabu Okamoto as director at Studio Bind. Toshiya Ono takes over as the series script supervisor, while Sanae Shimada joins as the new character designer. Several members of the original team return, including Masakazu Miyake as art director and Yoshiaki Fujisawa as music composer.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation tells the story of a jobless, 34-year-old shut-in who is reborn as an infant in a world of swords and magic while retaining memories of his former life. Now named Rudeus Greyrat, he is determined to make the most of his second chance and not repeat the mistakes of his past.

The light novel series, originally published from 2012 to 2015 on Shōsetsuka ni Narō!’s website, is widely regarded as an influential fantasy story. The first season of the anime adaptation premiered in January 2021, with the second part following in October 2021.

With a new production team and the continued support of fans, the second season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation II will be a fresh take on the beloved series. The show’s unique premise and compelling characters will undoubtedly captivate viewers as they follow Rudeus Greyrat’s journey to make the most of his second chance at life.
