In this episode, we are introduced to the group known as the Stepped Leaders, led by the powerful Sol. Sol, who reminds Rudy of his father Paul, displays his confidence and strength as he fearlessly hunts snow dragons, a species of terrifying monsters.

Sol's interaction with Rudy reveals an important fact: Sol can perceive Rudy's masked strength. Despite his rough demeanor, he urges Rudy to take on more challenging tasks and criticizes him for settling for easier quests, thereby downplaying the efforts of other adventurers.

In Millishion, Rudy is known as "Quagmire," a nickname stemming from his frequent use of mud magic for protection during quests. Although his magical abilities far surpass what the nickname suggests, Rudy chooses not to flaunt his full potential—a strategy that seems aimed at avoiding excessive attention or potential friction with other adventurers.

A pivotal event occurs when the Counter Arrow group suffers a mishap during another quest, resulting in Mimir's death and Sara's disappearance. Unnoticed by his comrades, Rudy embarks on a solo mission to find Sara. Using his magic, he disperses a raging blizzard, clears the area of monsters, and ultimately locates and heals Sara.

While Rudy's heroic deed is commendable, it also highlights that he deliberately downplays his abilities. Had his true strength been known, the Counter Arrow group might have expected him to intervene, potentially preventing Mimir's unfortunate demise. However, Rudy's choice to hold back allows him to avoid such expectations.
