Music video for the title song of the anime "Chō Kaguyahime! / Super Kaguyahime!" released

For the upcoming original anime "Chō Kaguyahime!", the official music video for the main theme song has been released.

The song is titled "Ex-Otogibanashi" (English approx. "Ex-Fairytale"). The piece was newly composed by ryo, the producer of the music group supercell. The interpretation is handled by voice actress Saori Hayami in her role as Yachiyo Tsukimi, the singer and administrator of the virtual space "Tsukuyomi" in the series.

The song is meant to convey both the mysterious aura of the character Yachiyo and her joyful attitude towards the creative world of Tsukuyomi. The released video combines visual impressions from this virtual environment with traditional Japanese architecture and neon-colored lights. It also contains excerpts from the anime, showing the character's distinctive style.

"Ex-Otogibanashi" is announced as a double A-side single by ryo (supercell), scheduled for release on January 23, 2026. The anime "Chō Kaguyahime!" itself, a modern musical interpretation of the classical "Taketori Monogatari" story, is expected to start on Netflix in January 2026.
