'My Company's Small Senpai': New Anime Brings More Cast, Personnel and Theme Songs

The TV anime adaptation of the manga "Uchi no Kaisha no Chiisai Senpai no Hanashi" (My Company's Small Senpai) by Saisou is set to premiere in the middle of the year, with a wealth of new details recently revealed on the official website. The anime is scheduled to air on July 2 in TV Asahi's NUMAnimation programming block, followed by broadcasts on BS Asahi and AT-X.

The newly announced cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki as Chihiro Akina, Yumiri Hanamori as the voice of Chinatsu Hayakawa, and Mikako Komatsu as Yutaka Shinozaki.
In addition to the cast, key staff members have been revealed, including Heo Hye-Jung for prop design, Lin Ge as art director, Maho Takahashi for art design, Haremi Miyagawa for color design, Shouta Harada as cinematographer, Akane Shiraishi for editing, Toshirou Hamamura as 3D director, and Yayoi Tateishi overseeing sound production.
The anime's theme songs have also been confirmed. The opening theme "HONEY" will be performed by Touya Kobayashi, while the ending theme "sugar" will be sung by YU-KA, contributing to the anime's auditory aesthetic.
The anime is directed by the experienced Mitsutoshi Satou, with Project No.9 handling production. The script is penned by a team consisting of Keiichirou Oochi, Yasuko Aoki, and Satoshi Sugisawa. The characters are brought to life by designers Hayato Hashiguchi and Hiromi Ogata.
The original manga, a romantic comedy, began serialization on Saisou's official Twitter in September 2019 and was later released as a doujinshi at Comiket 97 in December of the same year. Serialization on Takeshobo's STORIA Dash website began in April 2020, with the sixth volume released on April 16.
