Koshi and Nokotan meet Bashame, who wants to become Nokotan's apprentice. Bashame has admired Nokotan ever since he gave her a cookie before the entrance ceremony and is willing to become a deer. Nokotan explains the necessary steps to her.

Anko, who joined the Deer Club to get closer to Koshi, catches Koshi and Bashame in a seemingly compromising situation, leading to tension. Nokotan is delighted about the new members.

Koshi reflects on the club's progress and calls a meeting to avoid laziness. Bashame wants to create a rice field, which Koshi rejects, while Anko wants to stay close to Koshi, making him uneasy. Nokotan emphasizes that caring for the deer is the club's main goal and warns that she will leave if nothing changes. Koshi brushes Nokotan, which Bashame and Anko also want, leading to humorous scenes.
