Kadokawa recently released a new promotional video for the anticipated TV anime adaptation of the light novel series "My Happy Marriage" by Akumi Agitogi and Tsukiho Tsukioka. This video serves as a teaser and offers a glimpse of the opening song "Anata no Soba ni" (By Your Side) by Riria. At the same time, Netflix confirmed that the anime will begin streaming worldwide on July 5.

Additionally, Kadokawa announced that the character Arata Tsuruki will be voiced by Ryohei Kimura. The anime's cast includes prominent voice actors such as Reina Ueda, Kaito Ishikawa, Ayane Sakura, Kōtarō Nishiyama, Houko Kuwashima, and Hiro Shimono.
"My Happy Marriage" is directed by Takehiro Kubota, and the series is produced by Kinema Citrus. Takao Abo is in charge of storyboards and supervision, while Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi, and Momoka Toyoda are responsible for the series' scripts. Shōko Yasuda will design the characters, and Yuushi Koshida will serve as the 3DCG director. The music is composed by Evan Call, and Kashitarō Itō will perform the ending theme song "Itaphilosophy" for the anime.
The light novel series was first published in January 2019 by Agitogi and Tsukioka. The story revolves around the noble Miyo, who endures an abusive upbringing and eventually marries Kiyoki Kudo, a supposedly cold-hearted soldier. Despite initial hurdles, Miyo learns to open her heart to Kiyoki, leading to a journey of true love and happiness.
The manga adaptation of this novel was brought to life by Rito Kohsaka on Square Enix's Gangan Online website in December 2018.
