Kadokawa has released new information about the upcoming TV anime adaptation of the light novel series "My Happy Marriage" by Akumi Agitogi and Tsukiho Tsukioka. The announcement includes a video and the artists for the series' theme songs.

Riria. will perform the opening song "Anata no Soba ni" (By Your Side), while Kashitarō Itō will sing the ending song "Itaphilosophy." The anime, featuring Reina Ueda as Miyo Saimori and Kaito Ishikawa as Kiyoka Kudou in the lead roles, will premiere on Japanese TV in July, while Netflix will stream the series worldwide later this year.

Takehiro Kubota directs at Kinema Citrus, with Takao Abo overseeing storyboards and series composition. Ami Satо̄, Takahito Ōnishi, and Momoka Toyoda are in charge of the scripts, while Shōko Yasuda designs the characters. Yuushi Koshida serves as the 3DCG director, and Evan Call composes the music.

"My Happy Marriage" tells the story of the noble-born Miyo, who is mistreated by her stepmother. She is married off to Kiyoka, a soldier notorious for his cold demeanor, who has driven away his previous fiancées just days after their engagements. As Miyo opens her heart to Kiyoka, she begins to see this as an opportunity to find true love and happiness.

The light novel series, which began in January 2019, has grown in popularity and even inspired a live-action film adaptation that topped the box office in Japan on its opening weekend.
