In episode 5 of "My Happy Marriage," aptly titled "Ripples," a series of significant events unfold, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of all the characters.

The episode begins in the heart of the city, where Miyo is trying to adjust to her new life with Kudo. Despite Kudo’s typically reserved demeanor, he begins to subtly show his feelings, marking a significant shift in their marital relationship. This change primarily occurs in private moments, starkly contrasting his stoic public persona, especially toward his housekeeper, Yurie.

Meanwhile, an incident from Miyo’s past resurfaces. Kouji, her former fiancé, learns of her new marriage. His reaction to the news is explosive, leading to a confrontation with his father. This heated exchange intensifies the lingering tensions within the family and culminates in Kouji’s determination to confront Kudo and attempt to win Miyo back.
