At the same time, Kudo and Kouji are on a mission to rescue Miyo. They arrive at the Saimori estate, where Miyo is being held. Kudo and Minoru face off in a supernatural battle. The fight showcases their powers, with Kudo ultimately overpowering Minoru with lightning strikes.

Toward the end of the episode, it is revealed that Minoru was merely a pawn in the emperor's plan. The emperor's goal was not to control Miyo's powers but to eliminate her, thereby placing her in constant danger. In the closing scenes, there is a hint at the emperor's possible ability or his connection to immortality or reincarnation, symbolized by a phoenix motif on a box.
