"My Happy Marriage," a light novel series by Akumi Agitogi and Tsukiho Tsukioka, is being adapted into a TV anime. The anime will premiere in July 2023, and the team has revealed the first promotional video and cast.

New cast members include Ayane Sakura as Kaya Saimori, Kōtarō Nishiyama as Kōji Tatsuishi, Houko Kuwashima as Yurie, and Hiro Shimono as Yoshito Godō. Reina Ueda plays Miyo Saimori, and Kaito Ishikawa plays Kiyoka Kudō. The series is directed by Takehiro Kubota of Kinema Citrus, with Takao Abo overseeing storyboards and continuity.


The script is handled by Ami Satō, Takahito Ōnishi, and Momoka Toyoda. Shōko Yasuda will design the characters, and Yuushi Koshida will serve as the 3DCG director. Evan Call will compose the music for the series.


The novel series began in January 2019 and is licensed by Yen Press. The story follows Miyo, born into a noble family, who, despite a difficult start, is married to Kiyoka, a soldier with a cold personality. Over time, Miyo opens her heart to her future husband and finds love and happiness. The novel has also been adapted into a manga, released in December 2018, as well as a live-action film, which will hit theaters in Japan on March 17, 2023.
