My Happy Marriage Season 2 - Episode 3

In this episode, Miyo arrives at the Kudou family household and is challenged by Kiyoka's mother, Fuyu, who deems her unfit to become part of the family. Determined to prove her devotion, Miyo accepts Fuyu's demand to work as a housemaid. With her skills and resolve, she quickly earns the respect of the staff. Though Fuyu is irritated by Miyo's steadfastness and attempts to further demean her, Tadakiyo, Kiyoka's father, steps in to prevent escalation.

Meanwhile, Kiyoka conducts an investigation at a mysterious estate rumored to house dangerous experiments. A confrontation with a member of a suspicious organization, possibly called "Gifted Communion," reveals that these enemies are willing to take extreme measures to conceal their intentions. Worried that Miyo might be endangered by his work, Kiyoka returns home. There, Miyo informs him of her interactions with Fuyu, insisting that she wants to handle the situation herself.

Fuyu's hostility stems from her belief in upholding strict family traditions and propriety—qualities she sees as essential to protecting the Kudou name. However, Nae, the housekeeper, and other servants recognize that Miyo's quiet yet determined demeanor complements Kiyoka's character well. Though Fuyu remains unconvinced, she cannot ignore Miyo's efforts to maintain harmony in the household.

A sudden crisis arises when a wounded soldier arrives in a confused state, showing signs of supernatural influence. Believing she can help, Miyo uses her dream-sight to delve into his mind, but the situation turns critical. Arata's timely intervention prevents Miyo from being overwhelmed.
