"My Hero Academia" reaches milestone of 100 million copies

On April 4, 2024, the manga series "My Hero Academia" by Kohei Horikoshi reached a significant milestone with the release of its 40th volume: the global circulation has surpassed the 100 million copies mark. This achievement was celebrated with the release of a newly redrawn illustration and a comment from Horikoshi himself, expressing his gratitude and joy for the ongoing support from fans who have purchased his work over the years.

Since its debut in July 2014 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, My Hero Academia has become a cultural phenomenon and will celebrate its 10th anniversary this July. The newly redrawn illustrations and designs will later be integrated into the video games "My Hero Academia ULTRA IMPACT" and "My Hero Academia ULTRA RUMBLE."
