A new trailer for My Hero Academia Season 6 hit the screens in Tokyo recently. The season will air on Japanese television in the fall of 2022 and will adapt the story arc titled "The Paranormal Liberation War".

My Hero Academia is the anime adaptation of the hit superhero manga by Kōhei Horikoshi. Produced by Studio Bones, the series premiered in April 2016 with a first season and ended in June with 13 episodes. A second and a third season followed, each with 25 episodes. A fourth season aired between 2019 and 2020 with a total of 25 episodes. The fifth season of the series was released in March 2021 and again consisted of 25 episodes.

The original manga continues to be published in Weekly Shônen Jump and has appeared in 32 anthologies since it was first published in 2014.
