The TV anime adaptation of the manga "My Home Hero" by Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki is set to premiere in April. The official anime website has now released the first promotional video and information about the theme songs.



Singer Chiai Fujikawa will perform the opening song "Ai no Uta" (Song of Love), while Dizzy Sunfist will perform the ending song "Decided." The video shows the beginning of the main plot with a home invasion, setting the tone for this thrilling journey.

The anime features a notable cast: Junichi Suwabe as Tetsuo Tosu, a 47-year-old toy manufacturer; Sayaka Ohara as Kasen Tosu, Tetsuo's wife and confidante; Chihiro Shirata as Reika Tosu, the couple's daughter who is studying at university; Kent Itō as Kyōichi Majima, a member of an organized crime syndicate; and many other talented voice actors.

Behind the scenes, the anime is directed by Takashi Kamei of Tezuka Productions, with the screenplay and supervision by Kohei Kiyasu, character design by Masatsune Noguchi, art design by Yukio Abe, music by Kenji Kawai, sound direction by Takumi Itō, and sound effects by Kiyotaka Kawada.

The manga "My Home Hero" was first serialized in May 2017 in Weekly Young Magazine and went on hiatus after the conclusion of its second part in October 2021. It resumed in June 2022, seven years after the end of the second part, with the final story arc. The manga tells the story of an office worker who must navigate a dangerous world to protect his family after his daughter is assaulted.
