“My Instant Death Cheat Is So Overpowered” Anime Reveals New Cast and Trailer

The anime series "My Instant Death Cheat Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance," based on the novel by Tsuyoshi Fujitaka, has released its first promotional video. The clip offers a glimpse into the lives of high school students, including the protagonist Takatou Yogiri, who possesses the ability to instantly kill with the word "die," as they are summoned into a fantasy world. The vibrant cast, featuring classmates and sages, is also introduced, with scenes showcasing their unique abilities and the pivotal moments when Yogiri uses his power.

Alongside the video, the new voice actors were announced. Rina Sato will voice the sage Raine, a high-ranking vampire and one of the sages who rule the other world. Hiro Shimono plays the chubby otaku Hanakawa Daimon, who speaks in classical Japanese style and is also abducted into the other world. Yuki Murakami portrays the narcissistic Tachibana Yuuki, who has the power to enslave those he subdues, and Lynn has been confirmed for the role of the new employee Asuka Takatou of the "Independent Administrative Institution for Advanced Life Science Research." Alongside the cast announcement, an image of a giant robot named Aggressor, originating from another world, was revealed.

The series is set to air in January 2024 on various Japanese broadcasters. The animation is produced by Okuruto Noboru under the direction of Masakazu Hishida.
