The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Mashiro's Loving Yamada at Lv999! manga, "My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999," released its main promotional video on Tuesday along with new images, the artists for the theme songs, and further details about the cast and staff. KANA-BOON will perform the opening theme song "Gradation feat. Yūho Kitazawa," and Ryūjin Kiyoshi will perform the ending theme song "Trick Art." The newly announced cast includes Saori Ōnishi as Momoko Maeda, Nobuo Tobita as Takezo Kamota, and Rio Tsuchiya as Yukari Tsubaki. The anime will premiere on April 1.



The anime's story follows the recently heartbroken Akane, who meets Yamada in an RPG. Yamada is a legend in the game, but he only cares about playing. Akane's feelings grow, but Yamada remains focused on the game. The manga won the Grand Prize at the 6th Annual Tsutaya Comic Awards 2022 and has over one million copies in circulation in Japan.

Morio Asaka directs at Madhouse, Kunihiko Hamada designs the characters, and Yasuhiro Nakanishi oversees the series scripts. Mito from the group Clammbon and DÉ DÉ MOUSE compose the music. Additional staff includes Tomoyuki Shimizu as art director, Harue Ono as colorist, Hayato Aragaki as 3D director, Junko Sakai as cinematographer, Kashiko Kimura as editor, Jin Aketagawa as sound director, and Yui Ando as sound effects director.
