According to the official website for the anime Level 1 Dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou Desu, the series will air on Japanese television in 2023. The website was also updated with a first promotional image featuring the characters Ryota Sato and Emily Brown.

Nazuna Miki began publishing this story on the website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in February 2017. In September 2017, Kodansha acquired the rights to the work and began publishing it in volumes with illustrations by Subachi. The work currently consists of 7 volumes.

Ryota Sato experiences the surprise of his life when he is suddenly transported to another world and almost gets beaten up by the pretty young adventurer Emily Brown. In this new world, it's all about defeating monsters and profiting from what they drop: food, money, items, etc. Unfortunately, Ryota has no notable skills... until he discovers that he has the ability to obtain rare items!
