The episode begins with Ryota waking up in a strange place and hearing the sound effect of a video game. He encounters a girl named Emily, who is surprised that a human was dropped by a slime, a monster she had defeated (Drop-Item). Emily explains to Ryota that they are in a dungeon called Telulu, where monsters drop items when they are defeated. In this case, the slimes in Level 1 of Telulu drop bean sprouts.



Emily shows Ryota a status panel that displays a person's abilities and drop rates. Ryota's status panel shows that he is at Level 1 and all his drop rates are rated S, which is unusual and potentially effective.

Ryota decides to try his hand at a slime. After defeating it, he receives a large amount of bean sprouts, confirming that his S-rated drop rate is indeed very high. He then decides to use his unique ability to make a living in this new world.

Ryota manages to earn enough money within three days to rent an apartment. As a thank-you for her help and the warm meals she shared with him, he invites Emily to live with him. Emily, who had been living in the dungeon due to her low income, gladly accepts the offer.

Ryota learns about a new dungeon called Nihonium, where there are supposedly no more drops. Intrigued, he decides to explore it. In Nihonium, he encounters skeletons that drop seeds when he defeats them. These seeds increase his maximum hit points and allow him to grow stronger without leveling up. This discovery makes Nihonium a valuable place for Ryota to train and improve his stats.

Ryota works hard, defeats monsters, and sells his loot. Later, his life is turned upside down when a girl with large, naturally-looking bunny ears approaches him. She confesses her love to him, surprising both Ryota and Emily.
