In the second episode, Ryota continues his adventures in the world he was reincarnated into. At the beginning, he battles a giant gorilla and wonders what rare items he might obtain if he defeats such a colossal creature. However, the fight is interrupted by a girl who seems to have a particular fondness for carrots. She demands carrots from Ryota and threatens him with the phrase "death or carrot."



Ryota, who possesses a unique ability granting him an S-rank drop rate, manages to find carrots in the dungeon and offers them to the girl. She is delighted and declares her love for carrots, much to Ryota's relief. The girl, introducing herself as Eve Callusleader, is a renowned adventurer and carrot sommelier. She is famous for her powerful trick Excalibur and her catchphrase "Death or carrot." Eve's approval of the carrots Ryota found significantly increases their value, allowing him to sell them at a high price.



Later, Ryota, Emily, and Eve eat together and enjoy Emily's delicious carrot dishes. This peaceful moment is interrupted by the appearance of a stray—a type of monster that emerges when dungeon waste is left unattended. The stray, a massive gorilla, causes chaos in the city, but Ryota steps in to protect the townspeople. With the help of Emily and Eve, he manages to defeat the stray and earns the gratitude and admiration of the citizens.



The episode ends on a mysterious note as Ryota hears a sound suggesting a drop from the defeated stray, contradicting the common knowledge that strays do not yield drop items.
