The episode begins with the return of Ryota, Emily, and Celeste to Secro, where they are greeted by Erza, who asks Ryota for a favor regarding the upcoming harvest festival. Ryota agrees to help, and Erza gives him a list of rare drops to collect for the festival.

Ryota then explains to Celeste and Emily how he discovered that strays can drop items and demonstrates this by turning a rare drop into a stray and defeating it. During the demonstration, a stray unexpectedly appears, and the trio works together to defeat it, resulting in Emily's hammer breaking.

The next day, a weapons dealer named Smith offers to make Emily a new hammer for free if she allows him to use the Ryota family name in his advertising. Emily agrees, and Smith begins crafting the hammer.

Meanwhile, Ryota visits Telulu, a shop owner who sells Airboxes with Princess Margaret. Ryota suggests that Telulu sell rings instead, and she agrees, giving Ryota the first ring as a thank-you gift.

Back at Erza's shop, Ryota sells some items and receives a magic potion that increases the drop rate of plants as a bonus. He then meets Eve, a rabbit obsessed with carrots who wants to join Ryota's group. Ryota gives Eve the magic potion, and she obtains a high-quality carrot, after which she insists on joining the Ryota family.

Ryota agrees, and the episode ends with Eve enthusiastically joining the group and expressing her love for Ryota.
