“My Wife Has No Emotion”: New promo video for the TV anime released

The TV anime adaptation of Jiro Sugiura's work "My Wife Has No Emotion" ("Boku no Tsuma wa Kanjo ga Nai") has unveiled its main promotional video. The anime, set to air starting July 2, features various characters, including Takuma, Mina, Akari (voiced by Yoshino Aoyama), and Super Mina (voiced by Yuu Serizawa).

The opening song "Okaerinasai" is performed by virtual idol Tokino Sora from Hololive, while the ending song "Wave" is sung by Miyu Shimizu. Both artists are taking on anime themes for the first time, and the choruses of their songs are included in the PV. Tokino Sora shared that the original work left her with a warm feeling and highlights the various forms of love between humans and robots. Shimizu offered insights into the creative process, mentioning that she revised her lyrics after immersing herself in the manga to better understand the story.

"My Wife Has No Emotion" revolves around Takuma Kosugi, a workaholic employee who impulsively proposes to Mina, a household robot he bought from a recycling shop. The story follows the growth of their bond as Mina begins to exhibit behaviors beyond her programming, and Takuma grows into his role as a husband.
