"Nageki no Bourei wa Intai Shitai" anime starts on October 1st with new information about the cast, promo video and theme song

The TV anime "Nageki no Bourei wa Intai Shitai" (The Lamenting Ghost Wants to Retire) will premiere on October 1. Along with this announcement, four additional cast members, the first promotional clip, the second teaser visual, and details about the theme song were revealed.

The newly announced cast includes Yō Taichi as Eva Renfield, the deputy leader of the most powerful clan in the imperial capital, First Step, and a key figure who supports the clan behind the scenes. Akari Kito voices Luda Lumbeck, a member of the "Yaminabe" group tasked with an investigation mission by the protagonist Cry Andrich. Kōji Seki will play Greg Zangief, and Seiji Maeda voices Gilbert Bush.

The first teaser showcases Cry's "lamentations" and the charm of the various characters. The second teaser features the characters posing for promotional photos, a scene specifically developed for the anime.

The opening theme "Kattou Tomorrow" is performed by Lezel, while the ending theme "Scream!" is by Pmaru-sama. Comments from the four new cast members, as well as from Lezel and Pmaru-sama, have also been released.

"Nageki no Bourei wa Intai Shitai" tells the story of Cry Andrich, a young man who, along with his childhood friends, aims to become a successful treasure hunter. However, Cry quickly realizes he lacks the necessary talent. Despite this, he is thrust into the role of leader of the strongest group, leading to a tale full of glory but also the struggles of a reluctant hero.
