Naoki Fujita wins on Shueisha's "MILLION TAG" show

The reality show searching for the "next star manga creator" of the digital magazine Shonen Jump + found its winner on Friday with Naoki Fujita. Fujita, who applied with the manga "Beat & Motion," will take home a prize of 5 million yen, equivalent to 45,000 US dollars. In addition, the winner secures an anime adaptation of his work, which will be available on the streaming service Netflix, as well as the release of the first manga volume via Jump +. Fujita's partner at Shueisha was manga editor Shihei Rin (editor of Chainsaw Man and SPY x FAMILY).
