From the collaboration between P.A.WORKS and DMM.com comes a new TV anime titled "Nare Nare Hana Nare." Recently, the first images and a character trailer were released, introducing the six main characters and their respective voice actors.
"Nare Nare Hana Nare" is a youth drama set in Gunma Prefecture, portraying the various "role models" of six high school girls, each with different hobbies, skills, and personalities. These girls, known as PoMPoMs, go beyond the boundaries of cheerleading and touch people's hearts with their sincere desire to support others.
The cast includes notable voice actors such as Rika Nakagawa, who plays the character Kanata Misora, a first-year student at the prestigious Takano Saki High School and national champion in junior high school physical education. Other characters include Suzuha Obunai, a parkour enthusiast and first-year student at Sakurajou Girls' Academy, played by Yuki Nakajima; Anna Aveiro, a capoeira expert and returnee from Brazil, played by Larissa Tago Takeda; Nodoka Otani, played by Manaka Iwami, who is interested in yoga, India, and philosophy; Shion Tanizaki, a rhythmic gymnast nicknamed "Numata's Fairy," played by Moeka Kishimoto; and Megumi Kaiinji, a former teammate of Kanata and a shrine maiden, played by Miku Itou.
The key visual shows the characters in their school uniforms against a backdrop modeled after the real-life business district of Takasaki City in Gunma Prefecture. The character promo video hints at possible storylines and includes references to Takasaki City, Maebashi City, and Numata City in Gunma.
"Nare Nare Hana Nare" was directed and written by Hiroshi Kakimoto, with original character designs by Tomomi Takada and character design by Kanami Sekiguchi. The screenplay is a collaborative effort by director Kakimoto, Yuniko Ayana, and Midori Goto. P.A.WORKS is in charge of the animation production.
