"Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de": New anime adaptation from April 2025

The popular mystery series "Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de" by Tokuya Higashigawa will air as an anime starting April 2025 in Fuji TV's "Noitamina" block's new 11 PM timeslot. This adaptation is based on the novel of the same name, which was previously successfully adapted into a drama and a film.

The story takes place in the city of Kokuritsu in Tokyo. It follows the protagonist Reiko Hosho, who has a dual role as a rookie detective in the police force and as the daughter of a globally renowned corporate empire, the Hosho Group. Together with her sarcastic butler Kageyama and her eccentric superior, the son of a wealthy family, Kyōichirō Kazamatsuri, she solves complex criminal cases.
