The streaming service Netflix has expanded its anime program with four new titles. These include two films, a special, and a series, all available immediately.

First up is the live-action film "Golden Kamuy: The Abashiri Prison Raid." The 123-minute feature is the second live-action adaptation of Satoru Noda's popular manga series and continues the story of Sugimoto and Asirpa as they search for the Ainu gold. The film can be streamed in German and Japanese (with subtitles).

Also new to the catalog is the special "One Piece: Heroines." The 23-minute episode focuses on the female characters of the series and tells a side story in which Nami dives into a fashion world. The special is available in the original language with German subtitles.

The anime film "SHIBOYUGI 44: CLOUDY BEACH" is based on the manga of the same name by Yuuji Ukai and Necometal. The 89-minute film follows 17-year-old Yuki, who fights for survival as a professional player in deadly games. In addition to Netflix, the film is also available on Crunchyroll and Prime Video—in German and Japanese language versions.

The quartet is rounded off by the simulcast of the series "Thunder 3." The first episode of the series, based on a manga series, is now available in German and Japanese. The plot follows three students who discover superhuman powers in a parallel world. New episodes are released every Wednesday as a simulcast.

With these additions, Netflix reinforces its position as a key provider of anime content in the German-speaking region.
