Netflix includes a preview of the upcoming anime movie: Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King

Netflix, the well-known streaming giant, has begun streaming the first four minutes of the highly anticipated anime film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King. The early footage, available in eight audio and 13 subtitle languages, appears shortly before the film's premiere on the platform on June 16, 2023.



Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King is overseen by Yūki Tabata, the original manga creator. However, Tabata's involvement is not limited to supervision, as he has also contributed his expertise to the film's character design. Additionally, much of the team from the TV anime has been reassembled for this film. The film's director is Ayataka Tanemura, the character design is by Itsuko Takeda, and the film's music was composed by Minako Seki.

During the film's initial screenings, a unique bonus book titled "Volume 23.5" will be distributed to theatergoers. This limited-edition book features character designs for the film's original characters, created by Yūki Tabata, a short novel by film writer Johnny Onda, and interviews with the voice actors. However, this bonus book will only be available in the first week of the film's release and in limited quantities.

The film's voice cast is another interesting aspect. The character Conrad Leto, a former Wizard King, is brought to life by Toshihiko Seki. Marie Iitoyo, a model and actress, lends her voice to the original character Milly Maxwell. Other characters such as Jester, Princia, and Edward are portrayed by Fumiya Takahashi, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Houchu Ohtsuka, respectively.
