"The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh" made its debut on Netflix with the first part in December 2022. The story revolves around Meliodas' son Tristan and was newly developed by the original manga creator, Nakaba Suzuki.

The plot takes place 14 years after the Kingdom of Liones' victory over the Demon Clan and the restoration of peace. Prince Tristan struggles to cope with the immense powers he inherited from both parents: the power of the Demon Clan from his father Meliodas, who was the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins and the Dragon's Sin of Wrath, and the power of the Goddess Clan from his mother Elizabeth. When Elizabeth's life is in danger, Tristan leaves the kingdom and heads to Edinburgh, where Deathpierce, a former member of the Holy Knights of the Kingdom, resides in his castle. However, Deathpierce's true intentions remain unknown.

Several familiar voices from the main series return for the film. Yuuki Kaji voices Meliodas, while Mikako Komatsu and Ayumu Murase voice Tristan as a child and teenager, respectively. The cast also includes Sora Amamiya as Elizabeth, Jun Fukuyama as King, Aoi Yūki as Diane, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ban, Yuuhei Takagi as Gowther, and others.
