The popular manga series "Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You" by Karuho Shiina is getting a third season of its TV anime adaptation. This new season will be available for streaming worldwide exclusively on Netflix next year. Both Mamiko Noto and Daisuke Namikawa return as the voices of the main characters Sawako Kuronuma and Shōta Kazehaya. The animation for the third season will be handled by Production I.G.



"Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You" revolves around the story of Sawako Kuronuma, a girl who is often misunderstood due to her gloomy appearance, earning her the nickname Sadako (from The Ring). The narrative follows her journey as she forms a friendship with the popular Shōta Kazehaya, which eventually develops into a romantic relationship.

The original manga series was serialized in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret shōjo magazine from 2006 and concluded in November 2017. The 30th and final compiled volume of the manga was released in March 2018. Additionally, a spin-off manga titled "Kimi ni Todoke Bangaihen: Unmei no Hito (Kimi ni Todoke Spinoff: Soulmate)" was serialized in Bessatsu Margaret from April 2018 to May 2022.
